About Us!
At Westside Waves Volleyball Club, our primary objective is to develop volleyball players in West Kelowna, and adjoining communities. We believe in the competitive development of athletes in an environment of high standards and high empathy. Our vision is to see athletes training and competing in a spirit of joyful intensity and who are cross-trained at different positions where they can be maximally successful. We want our athletes to learn the right skills, have the right attitude and develop the “team” concept. We desire our athletes to be successful but we view success as the development of a good person, who has learned how to play volleyball properly, with dignity and class.
With this being our second season competing, we are now offering a 14U & 17U Girls team for the 2024 season. Coach Bios available on their team page.

Westside Waves Volleyball Club adheres to Volleyball BC & Volleyball Canada's policies and we want to encourage all of our members to do the free online CAC Safe Sport Module through safesport.coach.ca which educates us on the many ways abuse can happen in sport. If we see any kind of maltreatment, discrimination, abuse, it is our duty to report it. We all desire to have our children be able to play the sport they love in a safe environment. Canadian Sport Helpline is there for anyone who needs to talk.

It is very important to our club that we find opportunities for our athletes to give back to the communities around us. Volunteering is the best way to do that.
