Our 14U Coaches
Meet the Coach! Bobby has made playing and coaching team sports an integral part of her life. For the past twenty years she has been coaching on the field, the court or on the ice at the rink. Her newest love for coaching is with volleyball which she has been involved with for the past few years. Bobby is dedicated to provide each player with the opportunity to develop their technical skills and leadership abilities. She is very excited to join the Westside Waves Volleyball Club and continue on her coaching journey.

Meet Coach Alannah! Alannah Stiles is so excited to join the Westside Waves Volleyball Club! She has been playing volleyball competitively since she was 12 years old and has been coaching for the past 14 years. Originally from PEI, where she coached several provincial finalist teams, Alannah has spent the past four years coaching here in the Okanagan. In 2021, she coached the Mount Boucherie Jr. A Girls to an Interior Provincial Championship. She is dedicated to building each individual player’s technical skills, while promoting a strong understanding of the game. Her belief that volleyball is the ultimate team sport has influenced her coaching style to focus on positive teamwork and building each player’s confidence in themselves and their teammates. Her hope is for the skills learned on the court to be translated off the court, and for each athlete to develop and grow as a volleyball player and as an individual. Alannah is thrilled to be a part of growing the Westside Waves program at the 14U level and is looking forward to the upcoming season!

Meet Coach Sarah! Sarah is a dedicated and passionate volleyball coach with a wealth of experience both as a player and as a coach; with five years of coaching at the high school level and experience at the university level. Sarah's journey in volleyball began as a player, where she honed her skills as a setter. As a coach, Sarah brings a deep understanding of the game, coupled with a strong desire to instill discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in her players. Sarah's coaching philosophy emphasizes not only developing technical skills but also nurturing a strong sense of belonging among her teams.

Our Fee Structure
Our fees for the 2024 season are still being adjusted. However, they should be between $1200 - $1500. With this being the first season of 14U, here is what the fee structure will look like:

Hotel expenses for the Coaches
Volleyball BC Event Fees for 2 Super Spikes events in the Interior (February), and Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley (March). To keep costs down for the first running season of 14U we will not be attending the Island Event.
Volleyball BC Event Fee for Regional Championships (April, Location TBA)
Volleyball BC Event Fee for Provincial Championships (April, Location TBA)
Jersey, 2 Warm-up shirts, Hoodie, Sweatpants & Backpack
2 Practices per week
Here is what our fees do not include:
Volleyball BC Individual Player Membership Fee
Non-VBC Events
Food for away tournaments
Hotel and Transportation Expenses for Players
*NOTE: The Events are on a first come, first serve basis. In the event that we do not get in, that portion will be deducted from the fee's.
*NOTE: We will be accepting (by e-transfer) either full fee payment on January 5th, 2024 or Installments paid on January 5th, February 5th and March 5th.
